Stof tot nadenken (Food for thought) - Jenny Ymker and Elisabeth Kaldeway
van: 25 november 2011 tot: 5 februari 2012Our artists voor the exhibition are Elisabeth Kaldeway and Jenny Ymker. Although they have completely different ways of working, they both use similar themes: investigating the traditional ways of thinking about women, motherhood, mother love and independant living. Their work really is "Food for thought".

Jeroen van Herten, artist from Nijmegen, exhibits paintings and drawings which have their origin in observations. He registers his observations in a sketch, photo or memory. In his studio he tries to capture the essence of his observations with pencil or paint. During the process the images becomes abstract, separate from the origin.
