Paintings by Freek Sanders and Sculptures by Antoinette Briet
van: 10 februari 2012 tot: 23 april 2012From Friday February 10th Museum Kasteel Wijchen presents an exhibition of sculptures by Antoinette Briët an artist from the city Eindhoven and paintings by Freek Sanders, an artist from the city of Nijmegen, but origin Wijchen.
Antoinette Briët often gets her ideas from the world of animals. The form determines if she uses bronze, stone or wood.
Freek Sanders has gone trough several phases the last 20 years. His most recent work shows a return to a flat "surface" in which colour and form are at the centre.
