In 2025, we will commemorate and celebrate 80 years of freedom. On Thursday, May 1, Museum Kasteel Wijchen is organizing a fun children’s activity around the theme of freedom.
Children cut out a tree leaf or butterfly from paper and color and decorate it. On the leaf or butterfly, children write a wish or what freedom means to them. The leaves and butterflies with wishes will be hung in the freedom tree in the courtyard of the castle. The tree will remain there until June 1.
Practical information
The activity is on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (walk-in) and is included in a museum ticket.
