On Sunday, April 23, 2023, the Middle Ages will be brought to life in Museum Kasteel Wijchen with a medieval festival.
Castle Wijchen offers plenty to do for young and old. Medieval nobility settles in the Wedding Room. Admire their beautiful clothes, play a game of chess or take a picture together. In other rooms you can get acquainted with all kinds of crafts. See the leather worker, basket maker or rope maker at work. See the art of calligraphy, illumination, weaving and embroidery Meet a writer or buy off your sins at the indulgence seller. Of course, a medieval musician is not missing.
Also the exhibition Wijvenwereld. A surprising outlook on women in the late Middle Ages can still be seen.
Come to Museum Kasteel Wijchen on 23rd April and enjoy everything the Middle Ages have to offer.
